The Perfect Dinner: Shrimp Pasta

Grab the following ingredients:

  • 1 and 1/2 kilo of Baby Shrimp
  • Pasta (you can pick you kind: angel hair, penne, fusilli…)
  • Spices
    • Salt
    • Pepper
    • Cayenne Pepper
    • Spanish Paprika
  • Garlic ()
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Parmesan Cheese

About the shrimp….

Depending on you, the shrimp could be more or less. It tastes better if there are more shrimp in the pasta.

About the pasta….

Yes, I have mentioned that you can use the pasta you desire, but, in case you guys are wondering, I used Penne pasta. You can check the picture for reference down below.

About the spices….

You can add the spices you would like, as well. Like maybe there are some herbs you would like to add. Do It! Try experimenting, but maybe on just a small portion of the pasta in case something doesn’t go as planned.

LET. US. COOK.

1ST STEP:

Boil two pots of water. One of the pots will be for the shrimp and the other will be for the pasta. When the pots are boiling, place in your pasta and check on the plastic wrapper how any minutes you will be needing to cook it.

2ND STEP:

You will need to do one boil for your shrimp. You will know that your shrimp is cooked when it turns orange and you can find no gray spots around anymore.

3RD STEP:

While waiting for your pasta and shrimp to be cooked, chop up your garlic. Once you are finished cutting your garlic, start cooking it with butter and make it crunchy.

4TH STEP:

Once your pasta is done, drain the water and set aside while drizzling a bit of Olive oil around. Then, peel the shrimp head and shell from the shrimp and set aside.

5TH STEP:

Now, mix in your shrimp with your pasta with more olive oil and all the garlic that you’ve just cooked.

Per serving, you can drizzle the desired amount of spices and extra shrimp and garlic.
