It was an experiment…

A very delicious one.

Time to make seafood pasta! I love seafood. Ready?

First, grab your equipment…

You will be needing:

  • Pasta (your choice, really)
  • Baby Shrimps
  • Clams (if you want a sweeter flavor, smaller Clams work)
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Oregano
  • Spanish Paprika
  • Himalayan Salt
  • Garlic (LOTSA GARLIC) | around 6 to 7 whole garlic
  • Olive Oil
  • Soya Oil

You should also gather:

  • Pans and pots
  • Spatula for pasta
  • More spatulas (not too much, tho)

Once you have your stuff all laid out, we may begin.

LEGOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Awesome instructions:

Step 1:

Put on your chef hat and start placing two pots in which you will use to boil your shrimp and clams. Yes, I know I didn’t put how much shrimps or clams. Well, that’s your decision. I can’t decide everything for you guys. Depending if you want your pasta to be more on the seafood side, you should add more of this seafood. I’ll say I might have put too little seafood on mine.

Remember: This seafood will only need one boil, after that, drain the water and set aside

Hint: To be quicker in your cooking, you will want to multitask…. you probably know this….but just a reminder/hint which I found very, very useful

Step 2:

While you wait for you clams and your shrimps to one boil, start peeling and chopping up that garlic. I’m a slow peeler, bear with me. If you have the machine chopper with you guys then that would make everything much simple. I had a machine chopper but it was brown out so….. useless machine. Anyways, the way your want your garlic is your choice as well. Here are the types of ways you can get the different textures of garlic:

Cook garlic with:

  • Soya Oil === Crispy Crispy Crispy garlic
  • Butter === Crispy with a tad of a different kind of taste
  • Olive Oil === cooked but no crisp (normally use for pasta)

Step 3:

Boil your pasta. You will find how many minutes you will be needing to boil on the cover. Once you are done boiling, drain then set aside in a bowl with a bit of olive oil on top.

Step 4:

Once you’ve finished frying you garlic, check if your clams and shrimp are finished. Remember, one boil, so this means as soon as it starts to boil, drain and set aside. You will notice that the clams have opened, this means it is done cooking. Do not force open a clam. Separate the small meat of the clam from the shell and place it in a bowl.

Check to see if your shrimps are done, you will notice that the shrimp has gone all orange this means it is ready to be served.

Try to dry both seafoods for awhile.

Throw away the water that you’ve used to boil the seafood.

Step 4:

Once your garlic is the way you want it to be, mix both seafood into the same pan and mix. Just warm it all together for a few seconds.

Step 5:

Put the seafood and mixed in garlic in a small bowl while pouring in 5 tablespoons of olive oil.

Step 6:

Set table and serve. Sprinkle all the types of spices and salt onto the pasta with the seafood mix.
